Emergency Ride Home (ERH)

Green Commuters Never Get Stranded

Sponsored by your employer, property owner, residential location, or Transportation Management Association (TMA), ERH is provided to encourage commuters to leave their cars at home and use a less-polluting commute method. It ensures that if there is an emergency during the workweek, green commuters will not be left stranded at work.

In the event of an emergency, transportation is provided by Lyft™, taxi or Enterprise Rent-A-Car® — usually within thirty minutes — and at no cost to the participant.

See How It Works

We hope you never have to use the Emergency Ride Home Program, but it’s there for you if you need it. As you would expect with a program of this kind, any inappropriate use of the service would require the commuter to reimburse all expenses incurred.

To get started, register/login to eCommuter. Then, enroll in the ERH program. You will be able to update, modify or delete your profile at any time. Information on program guidelines and uses are available for download after enrollment.
